Welcome to Metal Card Studio! By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. Service Description

Metal Card Studio Inc. specializes in converting plastic credit, debit, or other payment cards into metal cards. This service is cosmetic and does not alter the functionality or information stored on your card with the exception of the “tap” functionality.

2. Customer Responsibilities

• Authorization: By submitting a card for conversion, you confirm that you are the authorized cardholder.
• Compliance with Card Issuer Terms: You acknowledge that altering your card may violate your card issuer’s terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to verify this with your card issuer before using our services.
• Functionality: While we strive to ensure all features of the card (e.g., chip, magnetic strip, contactless payment) remain intact, we cannot guarantee full functionality post-conversion.

3. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

• No Guarantee of Issuer Approval: Our service is not affiliated with or approved by any credit card issuer, bank, or financial institution.
• Loss or Damage: We take reasonable care with every card we handle. However, we are not liable for loss, damage, or deactivation of cards during the conversion process.
• Use of Altered Cards: Some merchants or ATMs may not accept converted cards due to changes in their appearance or weight. We are not responsible for any inconvenience caused.

4. Security and Privacy

• Data Handling: We do not store or access sensitive card information (e.g., card numbers, PINs). Any information on the card remains confidential and is used only for the conversion process.
• Shipping: Customers are responsible for securely shipping their cards to our facility. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery method.

5. Card Testing

To ensure that your new card works before we ship it back to you, we will insert it into our payment processing machine for a $0.01 transaction. If your card is frozen before you send it in, this transaction will not go through.

6. Order Process and Payments

• Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for the shipping cost of their card to our studio.
• Non-Refundable: Once a card is converted, the order is non-refundable.

7. Order deliveries

All orders are shipped via UPS standard shipping and a tracking link is provided. Once your order has been shipped, it will typically arrive between 1 – 3 business days depending on your location, however, in some cases, there may be some courier delays. Metal Card Studio is not responsible for any delays caused by the courier.

8. Legal and Intellectual Property

• No Infringement: Customers are responsible for ensuring that their submitted cards and designs do not violate any trademarks, copyrights, or proprietary designs.
• Prohibited Cards: We do not accept government-issued IDs, licenses, or other non-payment cards for conversion.

9. Indemnification

By using our service, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Metal Card Studio Inc., its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the alteration or use of your converted card.

10. Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify these terms or discontinue our service at any time without prior notice.
